Amber Richert, CRNP

Associate Director for Primary Care, East Baltimore and Washington, DC

Amber Richert (she/her/hers), a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, joined the Student Health & Well-Being team in 2023 as the Nurse Practitioner Manager for the East Baltimore and DC campuses where she also provides primary care services. Amber has a strong commitment to providing accessible, comprehensive primary and mental health care. She loves spending time with her fur kids and shares this joy with the East Baltimore campus at pet therapy with the Paddington Pyrs, which is hosted by the SHWB Health Promotions team.

Prior to joining SHWB, Amber was a full-time primary care provider in Baltimore City. She completed her undergraduate studies in Sociocultural Anthropology at Scripps College, and earned her BSN, MSN, and DNP at Johns Hopkins University. Amber also completed a Nurse Practitioner Residency in Community Health and Primary Care at Community Health Center, Inc. in Connecticut.
