Eligibility for Primary Care
Learners enrolled in degree-seeking programs within at least 1 in-person class on the Baltimore and Washington, DC campuses and postdoctoral fellows and house staff are eligible for primary care services.
Learners taking online classes or enrolled in non-degree programs are not eligible for primary care through university clinics and should go to their insurance website to find local primary care providers who are in-network with their plans or seek treatment at a community-based healthcare resource.
Learners on a leave of absence from the University are not eligible to receive in-person services from JHU Primary Care. Insurance and referral specialists are available to assist individuals on MLOA with how to search for outside providers for the duration of the period of leave.
All learners, regardless of status (e.g. taking in-person or remote only classes or on medical leave), are also eligible for medical services through TimelyCare.
