Trina Ridout, MD
Lead Clinic Physician
Trina Ridout (she/her/hers) joined Student Health and Well-being as the Lead Clinic Physician in August 2022. She most recently served as a primary care physician in Towson, MD. She is a board-certified family physician. Her clinical interests include general primary care, integrative medicine, women’s health, mental health, and clinician/healthcare team member wellness. She completed her Family Medicine residency with an area of concentration in Integrative Medicine at Penn Medicine/Lancaster General Hospital after graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She also completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2013.
Prior to medical school, she worked in Higher Education Administration at the University of Southern California, where she earned her Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. Her passion for higher education administration and student services was sparked during her time as an undergraduate at the College of William and Mary, where she studied neuroscience and sociology. She is ecstatic to blend her careers in higher ed and medicine in this current opportunity to serve the JHU students and community.
She is a native of Virginia Beach, VA. She currently lives in Baltimore and spends her free time with her husband, son, and daughter. She loves to hike, practice yoga, play music, and cook.
