Shaherbano Khalid, MPH

Public Health Officer

Shaherbano Khalid (she/her/hers) started at the Johns Hopkins COVID Command Center in 2020 as an Epidemiologist within the Investigations Contact Analysis Notifications (ICAN) department. In 2022, she transitioned to the Student Health & Well-Being division at JHU, serving as the Public Health Officer. She graduated with a Master’s in Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins. Shaherbano initially started her career as a dentist before fully transitioning into public health. Her interests include infectious disease epidemiology, health systems management, and the integration of AI in public health initiatives.
