Nancy Compton, MD
Clinic Physician
Nancy Compton (she/her/hers) joined the staff of the Homewood clinic in November, 2007. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and is a board-certified family physician. She has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians since 1984. Dr. Compton delivered primary care to families for 23 years, most recently at Fort Meade, Maryland, prior to joining JHU as a primary care physician caring for students. She also has a special interest in Travel Medicine and obtained her Certificate in Travel Health through the International Society of Travel Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Compton and her husband have two married adult children and reside in Ellicott City, Maryland. She and her husband enjoy spending their spare time visiting their children and grandchildren, hiking and observing nature, attending Broadway shows and plays, cooking, playing with their rescue dog Carli, and traveling both in the US and abroad.
