Patricia Henry (she/her) has been a clinician in the mental health field for over 10 years. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Virginia Tech. Patricia is dual licensed in Washington, DC, and Maryland. She enjoys working with students of all backgrounds, and has extensive experience working with international and immigrant populations.
Prior to her work at JHU, she was the on-site clinician for a federal government agency and worked as a clinician for several international organizations, non-profits, and government agencies. Patricia takes an integrative approach to counseling drawing upon cognitive behavioral, solutions focused and mindful based theories. She believes in utilizing the inner strengths of clients to impact positive growth. Areas of expertise include anxiety, perfectionism, depression, relationship issues and mindfulness skills.
