Tristan Barsky, Psy.D.

Associate Director of Clinical Services, Coordinator of Eating Disorder Services

Pronouns: he/him/his

I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, and, before coming to Johns Hopkins University, I worked in psychiatric and private practice settings, focusing on humane and respectful treatment of individuals diagnosed with Eating Disorders and Serious Mental Illnesses — most recently as Team Leader and Clinical Supervisor at The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia. My interests and much of my experience as a psychologist have been in the areas of Eating Disorders; trauma; and grief, loss, and bereavement. My aim as a therapist is to help you grow through managing, working through, and making meaning of your past and current challenges. I will work with you to turn towards your experiences with curiosity and compassion, to eventually come out on the other side stronger and more resilient. I will also work to provide you with new tools and resources to continue your healing moving forward.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, songwriting and music production, watching movies, and being in nature.
