She/Her
In her role as an MHS clinician, Kathy conducts initial consultations and provides individual and group counseling services that are client-centered, intentional, and trauma-informed. Attentive to client identities that are chosen or imposed by larger social forces, she uses an eclectic therapeutic approach, grounded in the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Self-Compassion Focused therapy. Her greatest hope after any interaction with a learner is that they walk away feeling helped, heard, or healed.
Two things Kathy especially enjoys about her work:
- Providing compassionate care to remarkable learners from around the world.
- Giving back to her alma mater.
