Judy Johnson Grados, Psy.D, is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Maryland. She earned a doctorate from Indiana State University before joining Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, Michigan as a staff psychologist. Dr. Grados later relocated to Baltimore, Maryland, completing a post-doctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Department of Mental Health. She has previously held previous part-time faculty appointments through the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and through the University of Maryland. Dr. Grados has clinical expertise and research interests in the area of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, and in enhancing mental health and wellness of doctoral and post-doctoral students, medical students and resident interns. In the past, Dr. Grados has owned and managed a busy private practice for more than a decade in the Baltimore metropolitan area and has experience with individuals of all ages. She has co-authored an evidence-based CBT social skill program manual for youth entitled The Resilience Builder Program for Children and Adolescence. Dr. Grados lives with her partner of more than 25 years, and has two grown children. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her three family dogs, swimming, traveling, being outside, and gardening.
