She/Her/Hers

Gina Grinstead is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the mental healthcare field. She spent five years working in inpatient and emergency psychiatry before training to become an NP at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017.

Gina’s areas of expertise include reproductive psychiatry (treatment planning in and around pregnancy and for those with menstrual-related mood disorders), depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, OCD, and ADHD. She is passionate about promoting the role of movement in health, which she practices as an avid cyclist and while playing with her pit bull, Chicken.

Two things Gina especially enjoys about her work:

  • Helping people find an optimal treatment regimen that maximizes functioning and enjoyment of life.
  • Working with young adult and student/learner populations.
