Susan Han, Ph.D.

Director of Outreach

Pronouns: she/her/hers

I joined the JHU Counseling Center in summer 2018 and I am excited to be part of the Johns Hopkins Community. I have a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and have worked in several different university counseling centers prior to joining the JHU Counseling Center. I have a passion for outreach and mental health promotion, particularly related to reducing mental health stigma and increasing access to treatment for traditionally underserved populations. I greatly enjoy working with FLI students, Asian and Asian-American students, and those managing family acculturation and inter-generational concerns. Clinically, I am integrative in my approach to therapy, drawing upon humanistic and social-cognitive theories in conceptualizations. On a personal level, I enjoy traveling, exploring foods from different cultures, and spending time with my family and friends.
