She/her
Shasta is a Doctoral Intern at Mental Health Services. In this role, Shasta is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based clinical care while continuing to grow as a culturally responsive and trauma-informed practitioner.
Prior to this role, Shasta completed clinical training across diverse settings, including university counseling centers, private practice, and neuropsychological testing clinics. Shasta is particularly passionate about integrating psychodynamic and relational frameworks with neurodiversity-affirming and developmentally attuned care.
Two things Shasta especially enjoys about her work:
- Forming authentic therapeutic connections that empower clients in their healing and growth.
- Advocating for reducing stigma around accessing mental health services, especially within marginalized and minority populations, and using group therapy as a powerful modality for relational healing
