Andrea Regenberg, LCSW-C

MHS Clinician, Embedded Counselor School of Education

I grew up in D.C. but my chosen city is Baltimore. I got my Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore where my emphasis was on Communities and Families. I have worked in a variety of settings and with clients ranging from elementary school-aged students up to and including graduate students. I have always found value in working in or adjacent to schools as they are such important places in our lives.

As a social worker, I value relationship-building and looking at the systems we use to see how they might serve us better. I have worked with both domestic and international students on topics such as: challenges around eating, history of trauma and gender identity. My areas of interest include: determining the supports students need to succeed academically, addressing interpersonal conflict and communication styles and supporting students in considering the impact of their many identities.

Outside of work I am learning to play the piano, watching K-dramas and spending time with my family and friends.
