Eligibility for Mental Health Services
Students enrolled in degree-seeking programs within at least one in-person class on the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. campuses, as well as postdoctoral fellows and house staff, are eligible for Mental Health Services.
Students enrolled in degree programs that are exclusively online may access Chat with a Counselor and our drop-in groups and workshops.
All students, regardless of whether they are taking in-person or remote only classes are also eligible for telehealth therapy and psychiatric services through TimelyCare. This convenient service provides 12 free scheduled counseling visits per year and psychiatric services (no controlled substances) for students and learners located in the United States, as well as on-demand support through TalkNow, which is available in the US and international locations that permit web access.
