School of Medicine

Students, trainees, and fellows at the School of Medicine are eligible for services at MHS – East Baltimore.

An initial consultation (IC) appointment is the first step to determining which resources will be most helpful to you. All IC appointments are 20-25 minutes in length and take place via Zoom. Call 410-955-1892 to schedule a same-day or next day appointment.

Students, trainees, residents, and fellows often have busy schedules and need services on evenings or weekends. You are also eligible for telehealth therapy and psychiatric services through TimelyCare. This convenient service provides 12 free scheduled counseling visits per year, psychiatric services (no controlled substances) as well as on-demand support through TalkNow.

Visiting students, short-term trainees, or participants in other School of Medicine programs may have eligibility at MHS – East Baltimore if they have paid the university health fee. Please call 410-955-1892 to check your eligibility.

The Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team (BHCST) can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 410-516-WELL (9355). The BHCST pairs specially trained public safety officers with licensed clinicians to provide mobile crisis response to the Homewood, Peabody, and East Baltimore campuses.
