He/Him/His

Doctoral Intern Paul El-Meouchy is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in empathy and respect. He creates a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their inner experiences and gain insight into unconscious patterns that may influence their lives. His clinical interests include working with student-athletes and individuals with military backgrounds, focusing on the intersection of physical and mental health. He also supports clients navigating gender identity exploration and members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as expatriates facing cross-cultural transitions.

Outside of his clinical work, Paul volunteers with the American Red Cross as a disaster mental health counselor.

Two things Paul especially enjoys about his work:

  • Supporting student-athletes and military-affiliated individuals in integrating physical and mental wellness.
  • Engaging with diverse, international communities and advocating for marginalized populations.
