She/Her/Hers
Vonsetta Manns is an accomplished Licensed Master Social Worker committed to optimizing student outcomes through case management, care planning, program coordination, and service linkage.
In her current role at the Johns Hopkins University Mental Health Services, Vonsetta coordinates care for students who are hospitalized for mental health issues, ensuring continuous support throughout their hospital stay. She works closely with hospital staff, family members, and campus partners to create comprehensive aftercare plans. Vonsetta facilitates post-hospitalization meetings to guarantee high-quality care and the best possible outcomes for students in vulnerable situations. Her role includes connecting students to mental health services and ensuring they stay engaged with these resources after their hospitalization.
Two things Vonsetta especially enjoys about her work:
- Seeking innovative ways to serve students/learners in collaboration with campus partners and other stakeholders.
- Gaining new insights and ideas from students/learners on how they might be better served to manage their mental health.
