Queen-Ayanna Sullivan is a Psychology Doctoral Intern at the Johns Hopkins University Mental Health Services. Through her clinical work thus far she has gained experience working in career counseling, healing racial trauma, rural integrated health care, and college counseling.

Queen’s areas of interest include outreach, sex, intimacy, and relationships issues, in addition to multicultural, communication, and career issues. She applies an interpersonal process and solutions-focused approach in therapy sessions and is also trained in various other theoretical orientations.

 Two things Queen especially enjoys about her work:

  • Supporting students who come from historically marginalized populations and face additional obstacles while pursuing higher education.
  • Centering social justice within her work.
