 Dr. Tristan Barsky joined Johns Hopkins University’s Mental Health Services in March 2020. He currently serves as a Senior Associate Director of Clinical Services.  In this role, in addition to providing individual therapy, he manages the day-to-day clinical operations and supervises the clinical staff of the MHS East Baltimore and MHS DC clinics.

Dr. Barsky’s professional passions and areas of focus include enhancing access to services for underserved groups, promoting mental health awareness, integrating services with campus resources, supporting students and learners with marginalized and/or minoritized identities, professional development and supervision, and innovation in service delivery.

Dr. Barsky is Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Two things Dr. Barsky especially enjoys about his work:

  • Participating in the development of policies and procedures that guide MHS clinical operations.
  • Being part of the Johns Hopkins University community and collaborating with colleagues and campus partners.  He especially enjoys supporting students and learners from marginalized communities and identities.
