She/Her/Hers

Leeanne Tobler is an occupational therapist (OT) in the JHU MHS Assessment, Occupational Therapy, & Neurodiversity (AON) Division. As an OT at JHU, she promotes students’ independence and well-being by supporting successful engagement in their daily activities.

In her current role, Leeanne leverages her expertise in addressing the impact of mental illness on functional living skills to help students address challenges related to life transitions, independent living, and neurodivergent executive functioning. She brings an innovative and empathetic approach to group and individual treatment, fostering a supportive environment where students feel heard and can explore various strategies to see what works best.

Two things Leeanne especially enjoys about her work:

  • Working with students to clarify their personal values
  • Helping students optimally and meaningfully allocate their time and energy, using their values as a guide
