Scheduling an Appointment

All visits to Mental Health Services are by appointment only. We offer both in-person and telehealth options for most clinical services; some services are only conducted in-person. If you have questions about what appointment type is right for you, please call 410-516-3311.

initial consultations

An initial consultation (IC) appointment is the first step to determining which resources will be most helpful to you. Initial consultation appointments are 20-25 minutes in length and most often take place via Zoom. Same-day or next-day appointments are available – you may schedule online through the MyHealth Portal. If you need assistance with finding an appointment time that works for you, or you prefer to schedule an in-person Initial Consultation, please call 410-516-3311.

Please be on time for your scheduled appointment and allow sufficient time to complete any forms or questionnaires sent to you by logging in 30 minutes before your appointment time. Initial consultation forms must be completed prior to your meeting with a clinician, and your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled if these are not received prior to your scheduled appointment time.

If you do not complete the check-in process prior to the start of your appointment, your appointment will be rescheduled. If you cannot keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible so we can provide this appointment time to another client.

Follow-up appointments

Clients who are actively working with a provider for individual therapy, psychiatric care and occupational therapy can schedule follow-up visits through the MyHealth Portal, by sending a secure message to your provider, or by calling Mental Health Services at 410-516-3311.

Do you have an urgent concern and can’t wait for an appointment? The Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team (BHCST) can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 410-516-WELL (9355).
