Consultation Services

In addition to providing direct clinical services, referrals, and a range of support resources to students and learners, Mental Health Services provides assistance to faculty, staff and others who may be concerned about someone or who need assistance with supporting students through the process of taking a leave of absence.

Consultation Services is staffed by licensed clinicians who have extensive experience providing consultation and coaching for those who working with students and learners of concern.

Do you need immediate assistance for a mental health crisis or urgent behavioral health concern? The Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team (BHCST) can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 410-516-WELL (9355). The BHCST pairs specially trained public safety officers with licensed clinicians to provide mobile crisis response to the Homewood, Peabody, and East Baltimore campuses. The BHCST can also connect you with Consultation Services for follow-up support once the urgent concern is addressed.

Support for Online Learners

TimelyCare TalkNow is an on-demand telehealth service that connects you to a clinician for support, any time you need it. This service is available in all 50 states and in international locations that permit web access. Online learners may also work with a TimelyCare clinician of their choice for up to 12 free telehealth counseling visits per year. 

Consultation Services provides navigation services for online learners and students who do not have eligibility for clinic-based resources.
