Megan Tassinari

Health Education Specialist

Megan Tassinari (she/her) joined Johns Hopkins University Health Promotion and Well-Being as a Health Education Specialist in August 2023. Equity, accessibility, and inclusivity have a strong influence on her work. She works to provide students with the knowledge they need to make the best health decisions for themselves. In addition to providing general health education, she also works with the PEEPs (Preventative Education & Empowerment for Peers) on campus to provide peer-led well-being initiatives. Her specific areas of interest include sexual and reproductive health, working with college-aged individuals, suicide prevention, sleep habits, and equitable access to reliable, accurate information.

Megan completed her Master of Public Health in Health Education and Promotion in August 2022 from Utah State University. She also completed her BS in Health Science in May 2020 from Utah State University. As of October 2022, she is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She has a deep love of learning and will continue to find formal and informal ways to learn new things. She loves to spend her free time reading a good book, watching MLB games, and exploring the outdoors. Feel free to come say hi!
