A Place To Talk (APTT) provides student-to-student peer listening for all Homewood undergraduates to discuss anything from everyday frustrations to serious concerns. Peer listeners are undergraduate students who have been trained to listen and respond without giving advice, and all visits to APTT are private.
Group counseling allows students to address their concerns through engagement with others. There are a variety of groups that meet to discuss such topics as substance abuse, dissertation stress, Black women’s empowerment, understanding self and others, LGBTQ+ student support, eating concerns, and more.
