Frances Callahan, LCSW-C (MD), LICSW (DC)
Clinical Manager
Frances (she/her) has worked as a mental health clinician and clinical leader at Johns Hopkins University since 2010. In addition to leading JHSAP, Frances serves as Clinical Manager of the Johns Hopkins Behavioral Health Crisis Support Team (BHCST).
Before she led clinical teams, Frances counseled Johns Hopkins faculty, staff, and students, and prior to her clinical social work career, taught yoga, literature, and writing. Frances believes that to help effectively, it’s essential to understand people’s strengths and challenges in the context of their environment. She is grateful that her work helping Johns Hopkins students, and helping faculty and staff support students, allows her to positively impact students and the context that’s affecting their well-being.
