{"id":817,"date":"2024-03-08T20:00:50","date_gmt":"2024-03-08T20:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wellbeing.jhu.edu\/PrimaryCare\/?page_id=817"},"modified":"2026-02-19T20:53:27","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T20:53:27","slug":"annual-flu-vaccine-requirement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wellbeing.jhu.edu\/PrimaryCare\/annual-flu-vaccine-requirement\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual Flu Vaccine Requirement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All eligible <strong>existing and incoming students<\/strong> at Johns Hopkins University who will be working or studying at a U.S.-based university campus or work site are required to have the annual flu vaccine during the flu season from August to May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: If you are a new student joining during summer\/early fall (before the start of the new flu season), you can get the vaccine at a JHU-hosted clinic for free. Flu compliance will not be enforced till after the November deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deadline Flu Season 25-26: November 21st 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deadline Flu Season 26-27: November 20th 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/policies.jhu.edu\/doc\/fetch.cfm\/GRhL0aLS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JHU Mandatory Flu Vaccine Policy<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Note: Information on <a href=\"https:\/\/wellbeing.jhu.edu\/PrimaryCare\/requesting-medical-religious-exceptions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">requesting medical and religious exceptions<\/a>&nbsp;to these requirements can be found on this web page.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All students (except School of Nursing) must provide proof of receiving the flu vaccine and upload it to the<span data-contrast=\"none\">&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/myhealth.wellbeing.jhu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">m<\/span><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/myhealth.wellbeing.jhu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">yHealth portal<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>School of Nursing<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">School of Nursing Students should <\/span>follow their school guidelines. SON Student who started enrollment in Spring of 2025 and on will enter compliance in Exxat.
