Through evidence-based strategies, OT supports the development of effective routines, time management skills, and coping mechanisms to promote overall well-being and academic success. <strong>The focus is on translating goals into action\u2014helping students engage in the tasks and responsibilities that are important to them. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Occupational Therapists offer drop-in workshops, groups, and individual sessions. Please note, OT is a specialty service and there may be a waitlist for individual sessions. We strongly encourage participation in an OT skills workshop to learn actionable skills and support your goals! Some of the most common challenges that OT can address include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organization, time and task management, productivity<\/li>\n<li>Attention, focus, and memory<\/li>\n<li>Sleep, habits, and daily routines<\/li>\n<li>Stress management and life transitions<\/li>\n<li>Independent living and life management skills (aka \u201cAdulting\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Academic performance, including study strategies and assignment management<\/li>\n<li>Procrastination and performance-related anxiety<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Getting Started<\/h2>\n<p>Eligible students and learners can schedule an Occupational Therapy consultation on the <a href=\"https:\/\/myhealth.wellbeing.jhu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myHealth portal<\/a>.
